Since the show couldn’t seem to replicate the magic of our favorite golden gals, it was mostly forgotten. Airing from 1992-1993, the show only had one season with 24 episodes.
The Golden Palace was a spinoff of Golden Girls but without Dorothy aka Bea Arthur. Nevertheless, the series existed although a lot of people don’t know about it. Entitled The Golden Palace, the spinoff wasn’t nearly as successful as its predecessor.
As iconic as the series was, some might not know the show actually had a spinoff. That’s one theme song all of us seem to have stuck in our heads and it’s because of Golden Girls.
